August Harleysville Update – Care and Share

Over the past few weeks, Care & Share and Velocity Venture Partners (the owners of our potential future property) have met with the Lower Salford Planning Commission. It was a delight to hear the many compliments about Care & Share from the members of the Planning Commission. Many of them, and their families, are regular shoppers and donors. They are very interested and excited to welcome Care & Share to the Lower Salford Community.

The property at 355 Maple Avenue in Harleysville requires an amendment to the property ordinance. The addition of “Village Commercial” is being proposed. For due process, this change will be posted in newspapers in the coming weeks, so the public is aware. It is anticipated that the addition will be voted on by the Board of Supervisors in early October. Don’t add this date to your calendar just yet…we will let you know when it is confirmed.
