The Coach brand is an American fashion staple. The 1941 New York City-founded company was inspired by the city itself. Coach has since continued to dedicate its brand to authenticity and being one’s unique self.
Under the supervision of Lillian and Miles Cahn, two of the six founding artists, the company grew to international acclaim, eventually dubbed “The Original American House of Leather”. Today, the company continues to be successful under the creative direction of Stuart Vevers, creating beautiful, quality purses, handbags, clutches, and wallets.
Coach-branded items are built to last and to be passed down from generation to generation. But sometimes when items become overused, worn or even fall out of style. Coach has recognized this issue and responded by creating revitalization initiatives that cut down on environmental impact by refurbishing bags that have been well used. They call this “Coach (Re) Loved”. You can read more about Coach’s sustainability programs on their website here.
Like Coach, we at Care and Share seek to impact our community and our greater entertainment by providing an opportunity for gently used items to receive a second life. The handbags we have highlighted today still have more to give through fashion and function—check them out on our app today!
