Contact Information & Hours Reminder

Over the past several weeks, department managers have been asked to update our volunteer records with each of their volunteers.  We want to be sure we have your correct address, telephone number, email, and emergency contact.  In some cases, the information we have for volunteers may be 10 or more years old, so there is a chance that it is outdated.  If you haven’t been asked by your manager yet, please remind them when you are at Care & Share the next time!  This is a big project, we appreciate your help as the ability to reach you, or an emergency contact if needed, is important for everyone.  

A friendly reminder as we are about halfway through the first quarter of 2026 – On March 31, we will perform a quarterly assessment of service hours by volunteers in accordance with our discount policy.  Sixteen or more hours a month yields a volunteer discount of 50%; and 8 to 15 hours earns 25%.  If you know your hours have been short, there is time now to get your average up before the quarter-end.  If you have experienced an extended absence due to health or out of state travel, be sure to provide the details to your manager or Suzanne Kratz.
