Emergency Events

If a medical emergency occurs while at Care & Share, our employees are instructed to call 911 for an ambulance.

When the ambulance arrives, it is the individual’s decision as to whether they wish to allow the emergency medical responders to transport them to a hospital. Our employees are restricted from driving you to the hosptial. 

If a team member is transported by ambulance or other Emergency Medical responders to a hospital, it is our procedure to require a “return to work” note from a medical doctor. 

What this means is that  your medical provider gives you a note green lighting your return to duty at Care & Share.  It does not require a diagnosis or other confidential medical information.  It provides clearance to resume duties as before, or perhaps to resume duties with some restrictions for a period of time. Please drop this off directly at the Welcome Center to Suzanne Kratz’s attention.
