From Day One: The Inspiring Stories of Ruth & Millie

At Care & Share, our story is built on the dedication of volunteers who have faithfully served over the years—and today, we’re honored to celebrate two incredible women who have been part of that story from the very beginning.

Ruth Delp and Millie Trauger have both been with us since opening day 50 years ago. Their commitment, joy, and servant hearts have left a lasting mark on our organization and the community we serve.

Ruth recently stepped into the spotlight by participating in our new commercial, and we can’t wait for you to see it—she was a natural!

We also take this moment to remember Millie, who recently passed away after serving with us nearly up until her final days. Her life was a beautiful example of faithful service, and her impact continues to inspire us.
