September Harleysville Update

We attended our first formal meeting with the Lower Salford Township Board of Supervisors in early September.  The portion of the agenda that pertained to Care & Share was the “Proposed Administrative Office (AO) Zoning District Text Amendment – Authorization to Advertise.” The supervisors voted 3 in favor, 1 opposed, 1 absent.  The amendment to authorize advertising passed.

The property at 355 Maple Avenue in Harleysville requires an amendment to the existing property ordinance.  The addition of “Village Commercial” is being proposed.  For due process, this proposed change will now be officially posted in newspapers in the coming weeks, so the public is aware.  It is anticipated that the Board of Supervisors will vote on the amendment in early October.
